10/21 Daily Roar Roundup - Detroit Lions News, Notes, Quotes, and More!

10/21 DRR 🦁🧵

2024 Detroit Lions Record: 5-1

Next Up: Tennessee Titans (1-5), 10/27, Sunday, 1:00 PM EST (Lions -10.5)

Question of the Day: What was your favorite moment from the Lions win over the Vikings?

Today's Thoughts🤔: The Vikings have two of the better tackles in the NFL and their offensive line has been playing extremely well. The Lions still ended with 4 sacks. While we do need to generate more pressure, I wouldn't use this game as a measuring stick to say we "need" to make a move now.

Bet Review

  • Lions over 24.5 points

  • David Montgomery over 50 yards rushing -125

  • Justin Jefferson over 125 yards receiving +250

  • Jameson Williams Anytime TD +210

  • Longshots: Detroit D Anytime TD +700

My Five Favorite Moments from Sunday

  1. Brian Branch flies for an incredible INT to stop MN's drive

  1. Jahmyr Gibbs breaks a 45-yard touchdown to get the Lions on the board

  2. Jake Bates seals the victory with a 44-yard field goal under pressure

  3. Goff hits Amon-Ra deep to put the Lions up 14-10

  4. Penei Sewell dominates two defenders on a single play

News

  • The Lions open as 10.5-point favorites against Tennessee

  • Brian Branch is now tied for 2nd in interceptions with 4 and 2nd with pass deflections with 11 despite playing two fewer games than the leader in both categories

  • Aidan Hutchinson has a "chance" to return if the Lions make the Super Bowl

Quotes

  • "I love this freakin’ team. I love the coaches. I love he players. I love everything about it, man. We are so freakin’ hardened. Even when it doesn’t go the way we want it to, man, you find a way. That is an outstanding win. We are 1-0 in the division, gentlemen. That’s one." - Dan Campbell postgame
